Prior to attending law school, Mussarrat worked as a legal assistant at a local family law firm in Bastrop, TX. During her time in law school, she gained hands-on experience through the Family Law Clinic and as a law clerk for a family law firm in Denver, CO. She also served as an active member of the Board of Advocates and as a multi-national championship member of the St. Mary’s National Moot Court team.

Mussarrat was born in Austin and grew up in the area before moving to San Antonio to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
